Enthusiasm does make the difference, doesn’t it?
I was reminded of this with these words written on my chiropractor’s wall. It’s right beside one of his massage tables, so you can focus on it as you’re getting one of your treatments.
Dr. Larry Wallen, my chiropractor in Estero, Florida loves to collect quotes. He keeps them in a notebook, but this one was so good, it went up on the wall of his patient area.
I suppose something could be achieved without enthusiasm, but how boring would that be? It would happen without fanfare. No one would notice. There might be a noteworthy achievement, but no one called attention to it.
I think the value of achieving great things with enthusiasm is that you are prompted to do more great things.
Why don’t you pause for a moment and think about some great things you’ve done lately?
List them and then think about each one— not just what you achieved, but whether you were enthusiastic about that achievement.
