Let’s Begin the Second Quarter Right!
How did that First Quarter fly by so quickly? We could say we are at the end of the First Quarter, but I’d rather we say we are at the Beginning of the Second Quarter. This invites practice thinking to make sure that we are ready for what is to come.
Here are a few questions to ask yourself and your employees:
Did you have a list of Commitments (you may know them as a goals) for this year and did you accomplish about 25% of them so that you are right on target?
If you didn’t have specific Commitments, how do you know if you are ahead or behind where you should be?
Might it be good to come up with Commitments to accomplish from now until the end of the year so that you are more effective?
Look at the Vision of your organization to know what you want to be in the future. Look at the Mission of your organization so that you know your doing the things that must be done each day to someday accomplish your mission.
After you look at the Vision and the Mission, list the Three Biggest Objectives your organization wants to accomplish this year.
Now come up with at least Three Action Steps for each objective. Then you will be on your way to success.
